Call for entries – FIJET Golden Apple awards for 1015.
I am pleased to inform you that the procedure for the prestigious international FIJET Golden Apple Award for 2015 nominations is opened.
This award of excellence is presented to an organization, country, city, local destination, site or person in recognition of superior efforts in promoting and raising the level of tourism.
Since it was established in 1970, The Golden Apple Award has been presented to 47 recipients.
To honor the outstanding achievements in the modern tourism trends, we invite you to take part in the nomination process.
The award is established by World Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers – FIJET (www.fijet.net) – the largest and most reputable organization of travel journalists and writers all over the world.
The Golden Apple has gained great recognition over the years and always has a list of candidates vying for it. In the last few years, the award was presented to the Rovinj and Opatija, Croatia, Luxor, Egypt, Split, Croatia, Nemrut Dag, Turkey, Sharm El Sheikh, Tyr, Lebanon, the Mol Lake District, Belgium.
All entries will be reviewed by an international jury on two stages: first by the Special Sub-Committee, which will check Application forms and then by an international Board, which includes professional journalists from more than 20 countries around the world.
To apply for the award you just have to fill in the Application form. No need of any payment.
If your entry wins you will be a part of the group of undisputed authorities in contemporary tourism, like Sicily (Italy), Robert Lonati (Secretary General of World Tourist Organization - WTO), Krakow (Poland), Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), Antwerpen (Belgium), Santiago de Cuba, Dubrovnik, Byblos, Postojna cave and many others.
